ZachXBT posts $10,000 bounty for Asia CEX manipulation evidence

On May 18, 2026, on-chain investigator ZachXBT posted a $10,000 personal bounty seeking evidence that market maker Heisenberg Guru coordinated price manipulation across Bitget, Binance and Gate. He named operators Sion and Chao and highlighted activity around the River (RIVER) token.

ZachXBT asked whistleblowers to provide chat logs, contracts or internal communications that show coordinated behavior across the three exchanges. He said the reward was funded from his personal accounts and that submissions should be sent via direct message; no public claims form or wallet address was published.

Heisenberg Guru, the individuals named and the three exchanges have not issued public responses linked to the bounty.

The RIVER token rose roughly 500% earlier in 2026. At times derivatives turnover in RIVER exceeded spot volume by margins that market participants had flagged, prompting questions about concentrated token supply and the impact of derivatives trading on price moves.

ZachXBT framed the bounty as part of a broader effort to expose active market makers on regional exchanges. He previously offered a crowd-funded reward tied to alleged coordination around the RAVE token on Bitget.

Prior probes by on-chain researchers have led exchanges to open reviews and in some cases to freeze assets or accounts across multiple jurisdictions.

In a social post accompanying the bounty he wrote, “These active MMs on Bitget, Binance, Gate, etc are a cancer to the industry and must be exposed since Asia CEXs continue to turn a blind eye on them.”

Observers note that off-chain documents such as chat records or internal agreements can provide evidence of intent or coordination that transaction data alone cannot reveal.

If credible off-chain evidence is produced, exchanges or regulators could open reviews or take action on listings and accounts tied to the firms and tokens named.
