WAIB Summit Monaco returns June 9-10 at One Monte-Carlo

WAIB Summit Monaco returns June 9-10 at One Monte-Carlo, drawing more than 2,000 institutional investors, Web3 founders and AI leaders, with BNP Paribas and the European Commission attending.

WAIB Summit Monaco will take place June 9-10 at One Monte-Carlo on Casino Square, immediately after the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. Organizers expect more than 2,000 attendees from finance and technology sectors, including institutional investors, Web3 founders and artificial intelligence specialists.

Confirmed institutional participants include BNP Paribas, Natixis and Franklin Templeton. Crypto and infrastructure firms on the program include CoinShares, Kraken and KuCoin EU. Delegations from the European Commission and the European Parliament will attend, and representatives from the governments of Liechtenstein and Monaco are listed among participants.

Speakers scheduled for the two-day summit cover policy, asset management and crypto infrastructure. Featured names include Peter Kerstens, adviser at the European Commission’s DG FISMA; Julien Clausse, head of Asset Foundry at BNP Paribas; Georg Harer, co-CEO of Bybit EU; Sabina Liu, managing director of KuCoin EU; Ada Vaughan, head of DeFi at Stellar Development Foundation; and Rafael Mastroberardino of Franklin Templeton.

The program is built around panels and talks that bring policy makers, asset managers, exchanges and infrastructure providers together to discuss how Web3, AI and institutional capital intersect. The summit will also run curated side events aimed at private investors and startups.

Signature events include a private Family Offices VIP Dinner at the Yacht Club de Monaco for 80 invited guests from family offices, private wealth managers and government bodies. The schedule lists the WAIB Summit Monte Carlo Awards, VC and startup pitching sessions with investors such as Draper University and CV VC Labs, and the AI Film Festival Monaco paired with a 24-hour hackathon powered by Alibaba Cloud. The summit will close with a beachfront event called The Moon Party along the Riviera.

Organizers cite metrics from the 2025 edition: more than 150 speakers, about 50 key opinion leaders with a combined reach of over 6 million followers, and more than 1.3 million social impressions. Companies that participated in 2025 include Microsoft, Coinbase, OKX, B2C2 and AS Monaco.
