ViaBTC launches Proof of Decade campaign, $100K prize

ViaBTC Group launched a 10th-anniversary ‘Proof of Decade’ campaign with a $100,000 prize pool opening June 2, 2026.

ViaBTC Group launched a 10th-anniversary campaign called ‘Proof of Decade’ and announced a $100,000 prize pool that opens June 2, 2026. The campaign will include community events in key markets.

The company began operations when it opened its mining pool on June 5, 2016. ViaBTC reports it serves about 2 million users in more than 150 countries and regions. The firm says its Bitcoin mining pool has run without service downtime and maintains one of the industry’s lowest orphan rates, which it says reduces invalid block losses and helps protect miners’ earnings.

ViaBTC Pool has ranked among the world’s top Bitcoin mining pools by hashrate. The company reports it holds the No. 1 global ranking in LTC/DOGE merged mining, ZEC mining and BCH mining. The pool supports more than ten proof-of-work cryptocurrencies.

Beyond mining, ViaBTC Group operates an ecosystem that includes the CoinEx exchange, CoinEx Wallet and ViaBTC Capital. The group provides trading, multi-chain wallets and crypto asset management services in over 200 countries and regions, linking mining, trading, storage and asset services within the group.

As part of the anniversary program, ViaBTC said it will run a series of initiatives for users and partners worldwide, including community celebrations in key markets and the $100,000 prize pool campaign opening June 2, 2026.

Haipo Yang, founder and CEO of ViaBTC Group, commented that trust is built through consistent operations, transparent earnings reporting, fair settlements and stable systems, and that the company will continue those practices across its ecosystem.

ViaBTC was founded in May 2016 and has expanded from a mining pool into a group that covers mining, exchange services, wallets and venture capital. The company’s statements emphasize its user base and its rankings in merged mining categories as measures of growth over the past ten years.
