Proof of Talk 2026 draws 2,500 as tokenization deals announced

Proof of Talk 2026 drew 2,500 executives to the Palais du Louvre on June 2–3, where Franklin Templeton and MoonPay announced a partnership and Citi released a tokenization market report.

Proof of Talk 2026 convened 2,500 senior executives and policymakers at the Palais du Louvre in Paris on June 2–3, following a Day 0 prelude in Versailles. The two-day program delivered product launches, strategic partnerships and research focused on tokenized financial products and market infrastructure.

Franklin Templeton announced a collaboration with MoonPay to broaden distribution of the firm’s tokenized funds and securities across onchain platforms. The announcement was made on the main stage by Jenny Johnson, chief executive of Franklin Templeton.

Citi used the forum to present its GPS Tokenization 2030 report, titled “Wall Street On‑Chain.” Ronit Ghose, Citi’s Global Head of Future of Finance, outlined the report’s estimate that the current market for tokenized digital investments totals $17 billion and discussed the firm’s projections through 2030.

Infrastructure firms reported progress on live deployments. Euroclear confirmed that its Pythagore tokenization project, targeting Europe’s €300 billion commercial paper market, remains on schedule for a Q4 2026 go-live. Zodia Custody’s chief executive, Julian Sawyer, confirmed the sale of Zodia to a traditional finance entity and described the transaction as a milestone for institutional crypto custody.

Product and tooling announcements included Ampersend’s introduction of a real-time pre-settlement compliance screening capability built with TRM Labs, aimed at accelerating institutional onchain transactions while performing regulatory checks. Other vendors, including Manifold Labs, Base and CertiK, announced updates to security and infrastructure offerings.

The conference program combined market panels, technical tracks and investor showcases. Main-stage speakers included Jenny Johnson, Adam Back, Stani Kulechov, Tom Lee, Caroline D. Pham and Ronit Ghose. The two co-founders of Bittensor, Ala Shaabana and Jacob Steeves, presented decentralised AI concepts to an institutional audience.

A Stablecoin Roundtable gathered 50 senior figures from firms and central banking circles, with attendees from Aave, the Bank of England, BlackRock, Paxos and Robinhood to discuss stablecoin liquidity and cross-platform interoperability.

Proof of Pitch, an innovation showcase running alongside the main program, named ReplyCorp, led by Jordan Feinstein, and Parthenon, led by Lindsey Girkin, as its 2026 winners after a live crowdfunding competition. The event also featured Masterclass sessions, a B2B Networking Lounge, a media hub and a dedicated StableDay.

Organizers said the conference operated without pay-to-speak arrangements and followed a journalist-led agenda. Supporting partners included Hecto, Taostats, NOWPayments, Edge & Node, Spectrum Nodes, XBTO and CertiK. Proof of Talk is held annually at the Louvre Palace and targets C-level and senior leaders across finance, policy and digital assets.
