Phemex Launches $7M Ultimate Championship Using Golden Ball

Phemex launched the 2026 Ultimate Championship on June 8, 2026 UTC. The campaign runs 42 days through July 20, 2026 UTC on the Phemex platform and carries a total prize pool of $7 million USDT. It combines prediction contracts, spot and futures trading, Blind Boxes and country-based team competition under one in-platform currency, Golden Ball.

Golden Ball is earned through activity on Phemex and can be spent across four campaign tracks: Victory Rush Predictions, Victory Rush Blind Box, Super Prediction and Trading Showdown. The shared currency allows users to enter tournament-style predictions, open reward boxes, trade event contracts and participate in country team competition without leaving the campaign layer.

Victory Rush Predictions has a $300,000 prize pool and covers nine tournament stages, including the opening match, Golden Boot, group winners, knockout brackets, third-place match, final result and champion. Users spend Golden Balls to enter stage-by-stage predictions; correct predictors share the stage prize pools.

Victory Rush Blind Box is supported by a $600,000 reward pool. Each Blind Box costs Golden Balls to open and contains at least a 5 USDT reward. Prize inventory includes digital rewards and physical items such as a 70g Phemex 7th Anniversary Golden Ball Trophy, a PS5 Pro and FC26. Phemex notes the trophy prize is linked to its anniversary campaign and is separate from official tournament assets.

Super Prediction targets event-contract traders and carries a $100,000 prize pool. The track runs three sprint rounds with leaderboards for each round. Participants compete by trading activity, performance, or both, depending on leaderboard categories.

Trading Showdown allocates $6 million USDT to country-based spot and futures competition. Participants select a national team, trade during the campaign and contribute to team and individual rankings. Tournament results adjust reward multipliers from 1.0x to 1.3x based on how far the chosen country advances. Team rewards require an individual contribution threshold of 5,000 USDT. The team pool is divided 70% for the team and 30% for individuals.

Key campaign dates include the June 8, 2026 UTC launch and the lock of Opening Match and Golden Boot predictions and country team selection on June 11 at 19:00 UTC. Trading Showdown team registration closes on July 14 at 19:00 UTC. Unused Golden Balls and unopened Blind Boxes expire on July 20 at 09:59:59 UTC.
