Internet Computer logs 6.5B transactions, tops Solana

Internet Computer recorded about 6.5 billion transactions in the 30 days ending May 24, more than double Solana’s roughly 2.9 billion, according to Chainspect’s May 24 rankings.

Chainspect’s May 24 rankings show Internet Computer recorded about 6.5 billion transactions in the 30-day period ending May 24, more than double Solana’s roughly 2.9 billion. Fogo, BNB Chain and TRON each registered fewer than 500 million transactions in the same window.

The rankings measure raw transaction volume on each network during the period and do not reflect dollar value moved or fee revenue.

Internet Computer runs more than 49 subnets, with each subnet operating an independent consensus process. That architecture enables horizontal scaling and parallel processing instead of routing execution through a single layer.

Chainspect’s data shows the network has processed about 287 billion transactions since its May 2021 launch. The network’s current throughput is roughly 2,891 transactions per second, and Chainspect recorded about 10.4 million transactions in the most recent hour.

ICP token price rose nearly 49% in early May and declined more than 28% since May 9. At the time of publication, ICP traded around $2.57, down about 0.55% over the previous 24 hours.

Solana posted the second-highest transaction count for the period. Other chains on the chart posted materially lower raw transaction totals.

The transaction figures document activity levels on Internet Computer during the measured period but do not indicate user intent, fee dynamics or the value transferred on chain.
