HYPE Tops $64 as Whales Inject Millions, Others Exit
Hyperliquid’s HYPE rose above $64 as whale wallets bought millions, including a $15.1M USDC purchase, while other holders sold or withdrew tokens from exchanges.
Hyperliquid’s HYPE reached an all-time high above $64 on Sunday and was trading around $63.70 at the latest checks. The token climbed more than 40% over the past week as large on-chain transfers showed both fresh accumulation and sizable exits.
One address, 0x9137, bought 238,811 HYPE for $15.1 million in USDC at an average price near $63.25. A newly created wallet withdrew 63,780 HYPE, valued at roughly $4.06 million, from the exchange Bybit.
A wallet linked to BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes deposited 115,453 HYPE, worth about $6.33 million at an entry price near $54.81, into an exchange and later withdrew 85,714 HYPE valued at about $5.37 million when the token traded around $62.69.
Investor Garrett Jin accumulated 145,050 HYPE, estimated at $9.05 million, over four days and placed a time-weighted average price order to buy an additional 39,940 HYPE for about $2.44 million.
Not all large holders added positions. Wallet 0x632B sold 151,574 HYPE for roughly $9.25 million and queued limit sell orders for about 170,000 tokens with price targets between $63.45 and $70.55.
On-chain data recorded large purchases, exchange withdrawals and queued sell orders as the token reached its record high.
