Global Custodian Adds Two Asian Leaders to 2026 Hall of Fame

Global Custodian inducted two senior custodial executives from Asia into its 2026 Hall of Fame at the publication’s 2026 awards programme. The inductions recognise long careers in custody and securities services across the region.

Global Custodian said the honorees were chosen for sustained leadership and measurable impact on market practices in Asia. Their careers include building local custody capabilities, improving settlement processes, engaging with regulators on investor protection and introducing client service models and technology tools that support cross-border trading and asset servicing.

Both executives led operations that covered safekeeping, settlement and asset servicing for institutional investors and cross-border mandates. Their work included expanding service offerings for asset managers and pension funds and developing links with central securities depositories and local banks across multiple jurisdictions.

Selection for the Hall of Fame was made by the magazine’s editorial team together with an advisory panel of industry experts. The criteria cited by the publication included professional track record and industry influence.

The magazine’s profiles detailed career milestones such as steering custody operations through market reforms, improving client reporting and strengthening operational controls. The coverage also noted their roles in mentoring junior staff and supporting the adoption of technology to streamline operational processes.
