CertiK, Forcerta to host Istanbul workshop on crypto security

CertiK and Istanbul-based Forcerta will hold an invitation-only, full-day workshop on institutional digital-asset security and compliance on June 5, 2026. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. TRT at the Hilton Istanbul and is titled The Institutional Stakes: Security and Compliance in Digital Assets. Organizers say attendance is limited and subject to host approval.

The program will open with remarks from CertiK’s senior leadership and the director of the TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Blockchain Lab, organizers said. Sessions scheduled across the day cover Turkey’s CASP regulatory framework, the current Web3 threat landscape, digital-asset custody and key management, stablecoin and real-world-asset security considerations, and institutional incident response procedures.

CertiK staff listed as speakers include Jason Jiang, chief business officer; Peiyu Wang, senior audit partner; and senior security engineers Uzeyir Destan and Turgay Arda Usman. Confirmed attendees will receive boardroom details and a full agenda before the workshop.

CertiK was founded in 2017 by professors from Yale and Columbia universities. The company provides formal verification, smart contract audits, penetration testing and compliance-focused security services. CertiK reports more than 5,000 enterprise clients, says it has secured over $600 billion in digital assets and identified more than 180,000 vulnerabilities.

Forcerta was founded in 2016 and is based in Istanbul. The firm provides risk management services for the financial services sector and works with traditional financial institutions, fintech and crypto businesses on risk strategy and controls.
