Bitget Renews UNICEF Pact to Add Finance, AI Curriculum
Bitget extended its partnership with UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition for a second year to add financial literacy and AI modules and expand into three more countries.
Bitget renewed its partnership with UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition for a second year, supporting the rollout of financial literacy and artificial intelligence modules and backing the coalition’s expansion into three additional countries. Blockchain content is scheduled for 2026. Bitget joined the coalition in June 2025 through UNICEF Luxembourg and will help scale the curriculum and geographic reach.
The Game Changers Coalition is led by UNICEF’s Office of Innovation. Since launch the program has reached more than 642,000 young people, parents and teachers across eight countries: Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco and South Africa. Girls make up 52% of participants. The coalition combines classroom resources, community programs and in-person and online game hackathons to teach practical digital skills.
Under the renewed agreement Bitget will take part in field visits, executive engagement and support for coalition-led learning experiences as the program adds the new modules and countries. In its first year Bitget supported activations designed to increase awareness and participation in digital skills education. Ignacio Aguirre, Bitget chief marketing officer, visited Cambodia to meet students, educators and local partners involved in those programs.
In late 2025 Bitget CEO Gracy Chen supported the coalition’s inaugural global UNICEF Game Jam, a 40-day initiative in which young creators in emerging economies built original video games with mentorship and a self-paced online course. Gracy Chen, Bitget CEO, commented: “Technology is becoming part of everyday life faster than education systems can adapt. Young people engage quickly once given access and opportunity. Our goal is to help build confidence and long-term digital and financial literacy that can create opportunities beyond crypto.”
Thomas Davin, Global Director at UNICEF’s Office of Innovation, noted: “Too many young people are still locked out from the skills driving the digital transformation. GCC brings industry, governments and communities together so the next generation has the skills, confidence and opportunity to lead in a technology-driven economy.”
Bitget was founded in 2018 and describes itself as the world’s largest Universal Exchange. The company says it serves more than 120 million users and that Bitget Wallet is used by over 80 million people. The firm has commercial partnerships with organizations including LALIGA and MotoGP and states that education initiatives are part of its wider engagement strategy.
UNICEF’s coalition plans to introduce blockchain modules in 2026 while implementing the current financial literacy and AI content. The updated curriculum will be delivered through the coalition’s mix of classroom lessons, community activities and hackathons aimed at increasing tech skills among young people in emerging economies.
