Acer CE320QK X 31.5in QD‑OLED: 4K, 240Hz, 90W USB‑C

Acer has introduced the CE320QK X, a 31.5in QD‑OLED 4K monitor with 240Hz refresh, wide color coverage, HDR10 and a USB‑C port with 90W power delivery, priced around £899 in Europe.

Acer has introduced the CE320QK X (European model of the PE320QK X), a 31.5‑inch quantum‑dot OLED monitor with a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and a maximum 240Hz refresh rate. The company is offering the model to the European market with an approximate price of £899.

The panel delivers a reported pixel density near 140 ppi, a quoted 0.03ms response time and true 0 cd/m2 black levels that produce an effectively infinite contrast ratio. The display supports HDR10 and is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce input lag during motion‑intensive tasks.

Measured color performance shows 100% coverage of sRGB and DCI‑P3 and 93.9% coverage of Adobe RGB. Average Delta‑E was 0.4 with a maximum of 1.37. Factory defaults produced slight oversaturation in blues and reds and a small undershoot in greens, indicating that color calibration may be needed for color‑critical work.

Peak HDR brightness measured about 299 cd/m2, above Acer’s stated 250 cd/m2 but lower than some competing 32‑inch models that reach higher HDR brightness. Brightness can vary briefly when switching display modes and inputs before settling.

The monitor includes a white rear finish with thin bezels. The adjustable stand offers 150mm height adjustment, tilt from ‑5° to +25°, swivel from ‑178° to +178° and pivot from ‑90° to +90°. The unit weighs about 7kg and is roughly 2kg lighter than some other 32‑inch white models. Rotation into portrait mode is supported but feels stiff, and there is a small amount of wobble when adjusting the screen.

Connectivity consists of two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 in and out for daisy‑chaining, a USB‑C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and 90W power delivery plus KVM support, two USB‑A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB‑B 3.0 port and an Ethernet jack. All ports face outward beneath the centre of the rear panel. The monitor does not include an integrated cable management system.

User controls include a four‑way clickable wheel on the rear bottom‑right for menu navigation and a dedicated power button. The menu provides profile switching, HDR enable/disable, color space selection and power saving options. The display offers OLED care settings, ComfortView Plus and flicker‑free operation to reduce burn‑in risk and eye strain.

Acer positions the CE320QK X for professionals who require high color accuracy and high refresh performance in a large OLED display. The model is available in Europe at the stated price point.
