Acemagic released the Kron Mini K1, a compact mini PC that ships with either an Intel Core i5‑12600H or an optional AMD Ryzen 5‑7430U. The base configuration includes 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512GB NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Pro. The unit measures 128 x 128 x 41 mm and weighs about 520 g. Acemagic lists a retail price of £559 ($559) and a current discounted price of $359.
The chassis has rounded corners and a silver finish. The device can be mounted to a compatible monitor using the included brackets. Front I/O consists of one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The rear panel includes four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.4b, a Gigabit Ethernet jack and the DC power input. The system supports Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. It does not include Wi‑Fi 6E or an SD card reader.
Benchmark tests of an i5‑12600H sample produced a Geekbench 6 single‑core score of 2,233 and a multi‑core score of 5,508. Graphics testing returned an OpenCL score of 9,630. The internal M.2 SSD posted sequential read and write speeds of about 3,368 MB/s and 2,538 MB/s, respectively.
For comparison, an Acemagic model equipped with an Intel Core i9‑13900HK registered Geekbench 6 scores of 2,806 single‑core and 8,912 multi‑core, and an OpenCL score of 13,514. The i9‑13900HK configuration uses a different integrated GPU and newer processor architecture.
Acemagic markets the Kron Mini K1 as a portable, plug‑and‑play desktop companion with a small footprint and a standard set of ports. The company offers the device at the stated retail price and the temporary discount noted on its sales listing.
