8Blocks, CertiK partner to vet tokenomics and smart contracts

8Blocks and CertiK will combine token-economy design, audits, formal verification, monitoring and launch preparation for projects before token generation events.

8Blocks announced a strategic partnership with blockchain security firm CertiK to provide integrated tokenomics and smart-contract security services for projects preparing token generation events (TGEs). The agreement links economic model review with technical security checks to prepare teams for market entry.

Under the partnership, 8Blocks will evaluate token utility, incentive structures, demand logic and circulation mechanics. The firm will advise on go-to-market strategy, prepare investor-facing materials and help build partner ecosystems tied to product usage and growth plans.

CertiK will supply smart-contract audits, formal verification of protocol logic, continuous monitoring and security assessments. The company will provide transparency tools designed to highlight protocol behavior and identify vulnerabilities before and after deployment.

The combined offering is aimed at the pre-TGE stage, when internal assumptions about demand and incentives face real user behavior. A token economy that does not align with user incentives can cause sell pressure, while unresolved contract vulnerabilities can lead to exploits or operational failures once a project is public.

The firms said projects can expect an integrated review process that runs economic validation and technical testing together rather than as separate, sequential steps. The work will produce coordinated reports and materials intended to support listing conversations and investor readiness ahead of public launches.

8Blocks works with Web3 teams and companies entering tokenized models to connect product usage with value circulation. CertiK provides security services to protocols and decentralized applications, including audits, formal verification and ongoing monitoring to detect threats after deployment.
