KuCoin was nominated for Best Trading Infrastructure in the Institutional 100 Awards 2026 for an institutional trading architecture that includes custody integrations and a real-world-asset collateral mirroring solution.
The nomination highlights a Unified Trading Account that pools capital across spot, futures and margin; an Off-Exchange Settlement framework that lets clients keep assets with third-party custodians while trading on the platform; and the RWA Collateral Mirroring Solution (RCMS), which mirrors tokenized real-world assets as usable collateral without removing them from regulated wrappers.
KuCoin reported more than 1,000 broker and fintech partners and over 200 active institutional API integrations as part of its connectivity footprint.
The company expanded its API and SDK layers, standardized documentation, increased WebSocket-based market data and upgraded broker dashboards to provide repeatable connections for brokers and trading-technology firms rather than one-off integrations. KuCoin distributes futures market data through a TradingView integration to allow traders to use familiar charting tools with KuCoin data.
Custody integrations cited by the company include BitGo Singapore Go Network, Cactus Custody and Ceffu MirrorX. RCMS supports tokenized products from regulated providers such as UBS uMINT and Asseto CASH+. Under the RCMS framework, a tokenized money market fund position can remain inside its qualified wrapper while being mirrored as collateral for trading.
BC Wong, KuCoin’s chief executive, described the company’s philosophy as “Trust First. Trade Next.” He added that trading infrastructure should be measured by trust, transparency, resilience and accountability.
The Institutional 100 Awards assess firms on execution, settlement, custody connectivity, collateral design, partner infrastructure and market data. KuCoin’s nomination places the platform among firms being evaluated on those technical and operational elements of institutional trading infrastructure.
